Did you know that you might be rich. That's right, you could have hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars just sitting in some state treasury somewhere that's gone unclaimed and is just waiting for you.
Millions of dollars go unclaimed every year because relatives of yours die and leave stocks, bank accounts, land, homes and lots of other property that you don't know about. Dateline NBC just featured a program where they tracked down several individuals and essentially made them rich with the money they found in state coffers. Some people got tens of thousands, some people got over $400,000 and the big winner was a man that didn't even want to be on TV and he got over one million dollars that he didn't even know was coming to him.
